Parents: why do you think my dad treated me this way?

When things are calm tell your dad you are going to respect the rules of the house and not argue. Tell him not to pin you on the couch anymore. No it is not OK for him to get physical with you in any way-But if it happened only once he may have just made a mistake he regrets.
