Parents: why do you think my dad treated me this way?

I don't know if he's a single father, but it sounds to me that Dad was a little frustrated and no it's not ok. But I do want to share something with you about parenting. Sometimes, some parents love their children so much and they want to protect them at all cost and if they feel as though their children are about to make a mistake, instead of us letting them learn the hard way, we try and cushion the fall and we end up paying for the mistake, not knowing how to handle it, we become irate and angry. Don't be so hard on dad, especially if you two can sit down and talk about it. Sounds like you have a wonderful dad and I hope you two can work on this. Be patient with him. Be blessed and Good luck
