Post fracture pain(tibia fracture)?

3 months ago i broke my tibia (right leg).it was closed complete tibia fracture.it was treated in cast (no surgery) now the functional braces is on .but still i have slight pain at the fracture site.when i stand on my injured leg it pains a lot .why does it pain ??
