A question about The Wiz?

I recently auditioned for The Wiz at a local theatre. I just saw the cast list. I got cast as one of "The Righteous Riffers." It was right below the main characters on the cast list and at the first rehearsal we get there an hour before the rest of the cast with the principals. Any idea what my part is? Thank you! :)
