Trouble between parents..?

So yesterday my mom got mad at my dad for coming home (he went to visit his friend who came from Canada and i live in federal way in Washington) and for not controlling himself and falling asleep on the couch at his friends. Today was my moms birthday so yeah... So what do I do so that they'll stop acting like this?
