What should i do? i wanna be more social?

Im always alone on the weekends. Like instead of going out and having fun going out like a normal teen i stay home. Like im part of a pretty popular group at school but im not the coolest one. I dont have ppl to hang out with or family to hang out with. Its depressing. Im a cool and very nice guy. Like ppl never ask me to hang out with them and im not a player so i dont talk to alot of girls. I do hang out out once in a while but rarely. Do ppl dont like me?
